More Midnight Magic

We here at Silence Is Boring love good disco music, and one of our favourite disco bands at the moment is Midnight Magic, and by the sounds of it, we aren’t alone. The band are getting some major hype on all the best blogs as well as huge remix action, with the latest two blessings being of Australia’s best musical export at the moment, Cut Copy and Californian born Corinne. Dig in.

Flight Facilities x Cut Copy

Earlier this week, Sydney nu-disco duo Flight Facilities uploaded their tropical remix of Cut Copy‘s new single ”Take Me Over” taken from new album Zonoscope, on their soundcloud. It’s probably one of the greatest things you will ever get to listen to. Big call, but valid.

Released later this month.

New Track From Cut Copy

Cut Copy are giving fans a chance to listen to their first single off their upcoming album Zonoscope titled ”Take Me Over”. Unlike the Beach Boys-esque track ”Where I’m Going” shared to the public a while back, ”Take Me Over” is an 80s inspired synth explosion that, to be fair, sounds a little similar to the Men At Work song ”Down Under”, but never fear, as lame as that sounds the track itself is actually quite good.

Introducing: Voltage

Joel Dickson of Riot In Belgium fame and Dan Whitford of Cut Copy have banded together to bring you Voltage. They recently released their debut single ‘All Night’ on Cutters Records which features remixes from Munk, In Flagranti, Ilija Rudman, Turkish Prison and Azari & III. It’s  like a dancey version of Cut Copy; very disco and very naice.
